About

Olivia Jones, MSN, FNP-C/Pulmonary, began her role as an FNP-C with Physicians East Pulmonary Team on August 14, 2023, where she is providing expert care to each patient while assuring their treatment plan, combined with the necessary medical procedure, works to achieve the best result for their medical condition.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University, where she was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. She continued her education in nursing at Chamberlain University, where she completed the Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty Track, achieving a Master of Science in Nursing degree.

Her desire to help others receive the medical treatments they need in a caring and compassionate atmosphere has been experienced through her actions in the emergency department as she assessed and managed acutely ill patients, prepared patients for their surgical procedures, and collaborated with surgeons, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, to ensure that treatments and medicines were as assigned. She applies her nursing skills to help her patients overcome concerns about treatments and/or procedures by educating them on the processes, and what they can expect.
