About

Briceida Osborne is a registered dietitian with a rich background in clinical practice, education, and community service. She completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from East Carolina University.

Prior to joining the Nutrition Department at Physicians East, Briceida served as a Clinical Dietitian IV at ECU Health Lifestyle Medicine, leading the Culinary Medicine program, teaching nutrition classes, and developing the Diabetes Self-Management Education & Support.

Certified as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, her research has been featured in numerous publications on weight loss, exercise, and cardiometabolic health, showcasing her dedication to advancing nutrition and dietetics.

Committed to community service, Briceida’s noteworthy volunteer efforts include her recent participation in Winning With Diabetes 2024, where she empowered participants through problem-solving education.

Raised in Michigan, Briceida enjoys working with and living in rural communities. She is not only passionate about her work but also enjoys traveling, restoring classic Datsun cars, and exploring botany as a hobby. She is also fluent in Spanish.
