Computer-aided detection (CAD) refers to sophisticated pattern recognition software that radiologists use to help them read medical images. This software identifies features in medical images and brings them to the attention of the radiologist in order to decrease negative readings. We use this special tool at Physicians East as a "second pair of eyes" for our radiologists.
We currently offer CAD at our Main Campus on Arlington Boulevard in Greenville, NC. Talk with your primary care physician about your next preventive screening, and learn more about the added degree of accuracy that CAD can provide to our digital imaging services.
