Who is Physicians East?

Physicians East, PA is eastern North Carolina’s largest private medical-surgical multi-specialty health care practice, with over 90 providers in offices in Greenville, Farmville, Winterville, Kinston and Beulaville. From our humble beginnings in 1965 as Quadrangle Primary Care in Greenville, we’ve grown to become the preferred private practice healthcare provider in the east.

Throughout our years of successful growth, we’ve never forgotten our purpose: to deliver our unique brand of personalized care to each and every patient. As one of the largest employers in eastern North Carolina, we feel a sense of responsibility to ensure that each staff member feels valued and has the opportunity to share their voice and improve our practice. It’s our commitment to our patients and our staff that make Physicians East one of the most desirable places to work in eastern North Carolina.

Our Community

One of the fastest growing cities in North Carolina and home to East Carolina University (the state’s third largest school), Greenville, NC is the county seat for Pitt county and acts as the unofficial center for eastern North Carolina. Many other medium to small towns pepper the sprawling, beautiful landscapes that make up our region. While the region’s roots lie in farming and agriculture, there are many growing population centers throughout the east, so there is no shortage of exciting nightlife, delicious restaurants, and fun for the whole family.

Situated near the coast but not too far from Raleigh, eastern North Carolina offers unique experiences for even the most discerning of tastes. The gorgeous climate and friendly disposition of locals only serve to punctuate all of the other qualities that make eastern North Carolina a perfect place to live.
